With training as a Chief Marketing Officer on the brand side, Vice President of Alliances and Associate Publisher on the entertainment property side, advertising Account Executive and NYU Adjunct Professor, Scott-Perkins is an 18+-year business leader with a proven track record for partnership development, innovation and delivery; leadership management and training; brand marketing, event production and consumer promotions; high productivity and a stellar work ethic and standard.
During her illustrious career, she has worked at DDB, Leo Burnett, Ogilvy Action, Frankel, DraftFCB, Atlantic Records, iN DEMAND Television, Live Nation, VIBE Media Group and Carol’s Daughter. Scott-Perkins has developed successful marketing partnerships for consumer brands and entertainment properties including Wrigley, Glaxo Smith Kline, Ghirardelli, Hilton, iN DEMAND TV, VIBE, Motorola, Comcast, Time Warner Cable, Microsoft, Pizza Hut, Vitamin Water, Carol’s Daughter, New York Post, New York Daily News, Vita Coco, Terra Chips, L’Oreal, Volkswagen, Chevrolet, Seagram’s Ginger Ale, Keebler, Oldsmobile, Heineken, GSN, Flip Video, Oscar Mayer, and True Religion Jeans,among others.
A graduate of University of Missouri-Columbia (B.J. ‘95) and Gonzaga University (M.A. ‘11), Scott-Perkins is an NYU adjunct professor in strategic partnerships and event marketing, and is a well-regarded speaker having spoken at the EPM Marketing Conference, PMA Marketing Conference, Northwestern University, Memphis Music Foundation, and a host of NYC schools, among others.
Scott-Perkins is an avid cyclist, serves on the prestigious Dance Theatre of Harlem Board, as well as the Michelle O Brunch Advisory Board. She is also an active member of Step-Up Women’s Network, Advertising Women of New York and Women in Music, and volunteers with First Corinthian Baptist Church’s youth center. She has served as an Effie Award juror, was featured in VH-1’s 2009 “Future” TV ad campaign, is also a willing and proud mentor to many, and resides in New York City with her wonderful husband, Al.
